Blue-gray gnatcatcher

Polioptila caerulea

Description:

A pair of gnatcatchers had constructed this beautiful nest but one day it had disappeared - perhaps knocked down in a storm or taken down by a predator. A few days later, a pair was constructing a new nest nearby, but I don't know if it was the same ones.

Habitat:

Mason Farm Biological Reserve
