Naumann's thrush

Turdus naumanni

Description:

90% sure this is a female Naumann's thrush in its first winter.

Habitat:

Residential garden. According to Birds of East Asia (2009), these birds are known to inhabit North Korea during the winter but rarely make it this far south.

Notes:

Excuse the terrible picture but I had to throw up an image of a new species for me. I was walking home from the park after a dry day of morning birding when I accidentally scared a pair of these birds out of private garden.
