Description:

The Glittering-throated Emerald hummingbird is an apodiforme bird of the family Trochilidae. It is the species of median hummingbird more found in open environments and forest edges. Visit the flowers of shrubs, vines and isolated trees or in the forest edge. It is kept away by larger hummingbirds, but is aggressive towards others of the same species or smaller.
