Adam’s Gem

Libellago adami

Description:

An endemic damselfly inhabiting canals, streams and rivers of lowland wet zone to lower hills. It is rather common comparative to other three Libellago species.

Notes:

This one was spotted right on the surface of the water at the foot of Lakshapana Falls, Hatton, Sri Lanka. Unfortunately i was in no position to get down to the water level to take a better shot.
