Northern Leopard Frog

Lithobates pipiens

Description:

Around 5 cm in size, pretty bright green. Distinguished by the two stripes running down its back.

Habitat:

Spotted in Bruce Peninsula National Park, near a lake that's within the park. But they are found throughout Canada, and can be found far from water.

Notes:

Rarely exceed 10 cm, and those are rare sizes. Can be either green or brown with spots.
