a South American native waterfowl, Muscovy Ducks are a common domestic species in North America. Many ducks escape or are released into the wild making them very common suburban birds.

People just don't carry common sense.

:) unfornately, some people at the pond did. They actually grabbed the ducklings & petted them. I warned them that the ducklings may carry salmonella & tat the mother may attack them, but they just gave me mean looks & did it anyway.
