Melanerpes aurifrons
They have a black and white streaked back, with a gray belly and head. Both sexes have a golden patch on the back of their head and at the top of their bill, and the males also have a bright red patch on the top of their head.
They are found in Texas and Oklahoma, then south to Mexico and Central America. They prefer oak, mesquite, and pecan trees.

Did you get permission frpm Yasser or Karen to upgrade your mission to include the whole US? If not then it only has a 300 mile radius
