Description:

A small Skipper with a distinctive lighter line on the wing. Wingspan 40-46mm. The female of this distinctive Skipper has a broad white band (yellow in the male) running diagonally across the hindwing underside ending at the tornus.

Habitat:

Garden in an area surrounded by dry mountainous tropical forest

Notes:

Found only in Mexico and the Caribbean islands of Bahamas, Cuba, Hispaniola and Puerto Rico.
