sondaica despoliata
A plain, light brown butterfly with a bar across both wings.
Adjacent to a small stream. Altitude 1000m.
My first thought was melantis, but the rear wing is different, no sharp point. Mycalesis usually has many ocelly along the trailing edge of both wings. The bar and the wing profile match, so I am thinking that this is a wet season form thing. I found this butterfly mud puddling with three other unrelated species of butterfly.
