you're welcome, i didn't think it would help much, but worth a shot :) man, skippers are tricky to ID, i get peck's, least, and silver-spotted here in PA. Other than that i'm toast! :D

Thank you, venusflytrap2000. The problem is, these skippers are very tricky to ID, and south american species are different from their north american counterparts. Even experts don't dare to try to ID them based on photos only... and I am surely far from being an expert! :-)
