Pycnonotus leucotis
A sparrow-sized passerine in the Bulbul family. Males and females look alike, and they get their name from their white cheek patch. Their heads and neck are black with pale yellow bare eye rings. Their bodies are pale brown with darker brown wings. Their vent (upper tail, underside) is orange-yellow and the rest of the tail is dark brown/black with two white patches.
Shrubs, urban environments. Found across the Middle-East and in certain areas of India.
Noisy birds seen everywhere in Doha.

I've Got 3 White-eared bulbuls and they are really wise.
I'm From Iran, Khuzestan... These birds are sensitive and you should never leave them alone... NeVer ^:
When they wanna show respect and thanks... They pull their heads forward
and shake their wings in a Cute way ... also they make a squeaking sound... which is very funny... Super Wise Birds...
I hope I never see them extinct ... just wanna die before see them go off the planet by humankind...

Happy Valentines Day! Appropriate Valentines photo added :)
Elsa, I'm not, but I had to visit there several times a couple of years ago. I was interesting to see some Asian birds there at the extreme limit of their range.
Thank you Daniele, and I did indeed! Are you Abu Dhabi based now??
Lovely! So you did make it to Qatar Elsa!
Here are their neighbours in Abu Dhabi:

Yes I see the resemblance :) They are slightly different as far as size is concerned, and also somewhat in the coloration such as the yellow eye rings.
Thanks Satyen!
