Plant Bug with Mites

Description:

A Plant Bug about 8 mm long with 2 red mites attached to the pronotum. The mites attach to their arthropod hosts only with the proboscis, as in the third picture. The legs are held up against the body of the mite. Family Miridae.

Habitat:

Came to an ultraviolet light in the garden, San Cristobal de Las Casas, 2,200 meters.
