Description:

A little larger then the Brown-headed Cowbird. Shiny black body with black legs and bill. Eyes are red in breeding time. Parasitic like other cowbirds, where they don't create nests and rear their young. They lay eggs in other birds nest and let the other bird raise them.

Habitat:

Mostly found in Mexico and the southern part of the bordered states. Can be found just about anywhere in the south. This one was spotted in a canyon along with Brown-headed Cowbirds.
