Great Egret

Ardea alba

Habitat:

freshwater, brackish, and marine wetlands. hunt in marshes, swamps, streams, rivers, ponds, lakes, impoundments, lagoons, tidal flats, canals, ditches, fish-rearing ponds, flooded farm fields, and sometimes upland habitats. 

Notes:

Both Great and Cattle Egrets seem to have gotten very good at hunting anoles in bushes and hedges here in South Florida. Here one stalks and eats a Cuban brown anole right next to me.
