This immature Coopers Hawk flew in trying to snag a bird at my feeders, but missed.
Thanks Emily. I was hoping this young bird would pick up the piece of chicken I put out for the pair of Red-shouldered Hawks that come daily, but he ignored it and didn't catch anything either.
What a frame worthy picture! A Coop in the snow! Simply lovely! Silly youngsters have so much to learn!
Thanks Yuko, the white spots on his wings almost look like the snowflakes that are falling.
