New Holland Honeyeater

Phylidonyris novaehollandiae

Description:

This popular honeyeater is attracted to flowering gardens. It came for a bath and was soon joined by another

Habitat:

A farm homestead garden.

Notes:

Since the hot spell has devastated the beetles and other arthropods, I have changed my lenses and become a bird watcher. Of course I love birds but my eyesight and patience are not adequately strong to be much good at this extremely rewarding sport. I shall return soon enough with my macro lens
