Description:

Snowy Egrets winter in south TX and will occasionally be seen in the spring and summer months. They eat mostly aquatic animals, including fish, frogs, worms, crustaceans, and insects.

Habitat:

Brazos Bend State Park is 4,897 park along the Brazos River in Needville, TX. The habitats include coastal prairie, bottomland forest, and wetlands including open and semi-open lakes and transitional marshlands.
