Carrion Crow or Raven

Corvus sp.

Description:

Ravens are large members of the Crow family have a diamond-shaped tail and are a common sight feeding on the ground or flying over as are the very similar but smaller Carrion Crows which have a slightly rounded tail and perhaps a shallower forehead than the Raven. I lean towards the Carrion Crow for this one.

Habitat:

Montane airfield 1100 metres asl.
