Eutelia adulatrix
It looked like a dry leave at first glance
Bayucca, No problem. Nuwan ID'd it first for me and then I confirmed the ID on the site you are referring to.
Johan, your photos are beautiful, my spotting did not have those brite colours it was kaki and brown like a dead leaf, it was hanging upside down on the shade cloth
Italy? Not sure I understand. Me and Altha is about 300 km's apart in South Africa which is where I made my spotting!
Johan, I know Italy is a little bit far away, but to my knowledge this one is also found in RSA.
Similar spotting a few hundred kilometers away: http://www.projectnoah.org/spottings/148...
Noctuidae, Euteliinae, Eutelia sp. and most probably Eutelia adulatrix, despite the a little bit bright picture. Please, verify!
