Description:

The wasp spider, Argiope bruennichi, is a species of orb-web spider which shows striking yellow and black markings on its abdomen. The species is rather common, in Greece, and the pictured young female spider, was spotted and photographed in a house garden, in Tzoumerka mountains, Epirus region, Greece.
