•The males have a territorial behaviour. •Their territory is typically 15 meters in diameter that contain larval host plants. •They are brush-footed butterflies.

Habitat:

Open, moist areas, like parks, edges of ponds and streams, fields, along shallow ditches -I saw this butterfly in Angra dos Reis (RJ, Brazil)
