Almond Jacobin Pigeon

Columba livia

Description:

This is obviously an escapee as these were produced by selective breeding from the original Rock Doves/Pigeons over a long period of time, perhaps centuries and now come under the common title of Fancy Pigeons. The tiny white head can just be seen in the first puicture.

Habitat:

Village on limestone outcrop in foothills of Los Serranos mountains.
