Vine Flowers are pink/purple; borne on a raceme; pea-like, keel petal curved strongly inward to enclose stamens and style. Leaves. Compound with three leaflets; alternate. Leaflets not trilobes (as are the leaflets of Stophostyles helvola). Often the terminal leaflet lies at a different angle/plane from the other two leaflets. Seeds borne in a long slender bean
