Description:

Small to medium sized tree that is scrubby and froms groves. The leaves are thick and leathery, course veins and curved at the sides. The bark is thick with deep furrows and rough edges.

Habitat:

This was in a grove on the inside edge of a coastal marsh. There were 5 trees in this grove.
