Flat Spider

Hemicloea

Description:

3cm highly specialised flattened body for hiding under bark. Large black palyps and face area. Dark thorax. Pale abdomen. Pale legs and long.

Habitat:

Nocturnal hunters found under bark during daylight and on tree trunks. This one was very agitated and may have been hunting a mate rather than dinner

Notes:

Although looking different in a number of aspects I am fairly certain this is the same species and possibly the same spider than the earlier spotting just a little older http://www.projectnoah.org/spottings/180...
