Description:

This plant does have flowers. They are bright yellow with five smooth petals. The leaf of this plant is twenty-five centimeters long at the longest point. At the widest point of the leaf, it is fourteen centimeters wide. The leaf margin is slightly SERRATED and the shape of the leaf is ELLIPTIC. The leaf venation is PINNATE. The leaf is smooth with no hairs. This plant is a very large shrub. The Simpoh Air has 'very deep taproots' so it can reach water sources underground. Young leaves are reddish in color.

Habitat:

Secondary rainforest in Singapore.
