Came up once in our yard but I've not seen it since. Sadly. Pretty sure it is cinquefoil but not sure on the spefic one.

I think P. recta is correct. The color of the flowers, the shape of the leaves, and the hairiness are all consistent with that species. I learned it as "rough-fruited cinquefoil." There are at least three species that grow in my neck of the woods, and this one is my favorite. Nice pics!
