Habitat:

Sungei Buloh Wetland Reserve

Notes:

Seeds can be used as one of the ingredients of cough medicine. Crushed seeds can be applied as a poultice on boils. 2 - 3 seeds may be given to children to expel parasitic intestinal worms. Roots are used as part of a decoction remedy for shingles.
