Description:

Fowlea asperrimus is a species of non-venomous snakes in the family of Colubridae, this species is endemic to Sri Lanka. The population seems to be stable according to IUCN as of 2019, it's listed as Least concern(LC). https://www.iucnredlist.org/species/1971...

Habitat:

Farmland, close to settlements. Not far from small patches of jungle.

Notes:

I don't remember the exact location, but it was on the way from Sinharaja Forest Reserve towards the western coast.
