A worldwide community photographing and learning about wildlife
The tree was about 2 meters tall, with prop and stilt roots. The leaves were in a sub-opposite arrangement, with leaves that are 6 cm long and 4.5 cm wide. The smooth, and waxy leaves were oval-shaped, with lanceolate leaf patterns. However, the plant seemed like its leaves were changing color. The branches were really spindly, green, and not covered in bark. The bark itself was rough and bumpy, mostly white with mottled stains.
The plant was found in the Singapore American School secondary rainforest. It was found in a cool place where the trees above blocked some sunlight.
