Description:

easy to recognize as it climbs head-first down a tree trunk; its crown is dull brown, its underparts whitish, its back, nape, wings, and rump blue gray

Habitat:

urban backyard, black oil seed feeder

Notes:

usually eats insects but I guess not many available in winter
