Wilson's Warbler

Cardellina pusilla

Description:

Small warbler, mostly yellow with olive-green wings and back. Black cap on it's head and thin short bill. I spotted this when it was protecting it's territory from the Bushtits and Chickadees. It didn't seem to bother with the Nutall's Woodpecker nearby.

Habitat:

Shaded woody area near water.
