Pentatomoidea
This arthropod was about 5.5 cm long and 3 cm wide. Its head is very small compared to its body. Its beady black eyes are located in front of its body. Underneath the grey wings, you can see a rainbow-colored exoskeleton. Its abdomen is outlined by orange and black stripes, with green wings. Two large antennae poke out from the head, each about 1.5 cm long. It legs are black and each about 2 cm long.
The beetle was found in the Singapore American School secondary rainforest. It was given partial shade by medium-size trees above it. I spotted on top of a tree stub.
