Esta araña presenta una amplia variabilidad de coloración, ya que puede ser amarilla, naranja, roja o rosada, a voluntad. El cambio tiene lugar en un par de días, de manera que es posible encontrar un amplio espectro de formas intermedias, imágenes 4 y 5. Presenta un abdomen de forma curiosa, debido a dos abultamientos angulosos que aparecen hacia la mitad del mismo. También son característicos los ojos laterales, ligeramente sobresalientes. The spider has a wide variability of staining, as can be yellow, orange, pink or red, as desired. The change takes place in a couple of days, so that you can find a wide range of intermediate forms. It has a curious way abdomen because of two sharp bumps that appear in the middle of it. Are also typical lateral eyes, slightly protruding.

Habitat:

La encontré sobre una planta de viborera (Echium creticum) en los Huertos de Totana (Murcia).
