Javan Myna

Acridotheres javanicus

Description:

These can be seen just about anywhere so on long walks I might have several spottings of them in different locations. On this occasion we walked several miles via park connectors through several different parks, returning to base via bus/train at the end of the day. This individual looks like it is undergoing a moult, there is a lot more white under the tail and vent than normal and hardly any white marking on the wings yet.

Habitat:

Grassy patch by housing blocks.
