Overlightening the first picture reveals a lot of red as well a pale markings below and on the sides, like a cross between Plantain Squirrel and Prevost's Squirrel but there are numerous similar species in Borneo.

Thanks for confirming this Jellis, I wasn't 100% sure as there are so many similar species here, 34 squirrels to be precise!
