Description:

Adhemarius daphne es una especie de polilla de la familia Sphingidae. Fue descrita por Boisduval de 1875, Adhemarius daphne es generalizada y común en toda la región neotropical. Los machos tienen una envergadura de aproximadamente 90 mm-110 mm y las hembras 100 mm-125 mm.

Habitat:

Bosque subtropical perturbado.

Lovely! I am thinking this either is A. daphne, which is infrequently reported from Mexico, or another very similar species. This one just recently eclosed, or came out of its cocoon, so its wings are not fully extended, making it hard to find a species.
