Orange peel fungus

Aleuria aurantia

Description:

Bright orange cup fungus. Spore print is white.

Habitat:

Growing on the ground inside the greenhouse at a time when it isn't usually watered.

Notes:

There is a spring orange peel fungus that this may be (Caloscypha fulgens), but the outside of its cup tends to be brown, so I'm sticking with the Aleuria i.d. here. Aleuria, though, usually has a whiter outer side.
