A small insect. Brown black wings and yellow underneath.

Habitat:

They seem to be everywhere in swarms around at the moment.

This one seems to have had a little of his wing eaten

Thanks John, It sure looks right to me. There are plenty of them around at the moment. Plague Soldier Beetle is a good name for them,
