Leafhopper

Description:

This poor Leafhopper was hopping all over the trail flopping from upright to upside-down. It couldn't take flight because of the damage to its elytra/wing. The second image is of its underside. Last shows the lifted elytra that I believe to be an injury.

Habitat:

This hopper was in Chaparral
