Black-capped Chickadee

Poecile atricapillus

Description:

Small, round bodied bird. Black cap, bill and chin with white between, buffy sides with whitish underneath, gray back. Usually seen in groups.

Habitat:

Bronx Zoo, New York.

Notes:

Wild birds visit the zoo frequently. There is good habitat for many of them. I had to wait for a bit for this bird to come out of the brush.
