Description:

Jay fed to the trees and on the ground. They feed on invertebrates , including small insects, acorns , beech nuts and other seeds, fruits such as blackberries, young birds and eggs, mice, small reptiles and snakes , etc. It nests on the trees or large shrubs. The females lay 4 - 6 eggs that hatched after 16 - 19 days, and the birds are able to fly after 21 - 23 days. And male and female feed the young together.

Habitat:

It is a species of bird occurring over a vast region from Western Europe and north-west Africa to the Indian Subcontinent and further to the eastern seaboard of Asia and down into south-east Asia.
