Willy Wagtail

Rhipidura leucophrys

Description:

plumage is black above with a white belly. The Willie Wagtail can be distinguished from other similar-sized black and white birds by its black throat and white eyebrows and whisker marks - From Birds In Backyards

Habitat:

I get a visit by Willies (shorter aussie name for them) fairly often. The recent bad weather here has brought out a lot of insects so have seen a number of insect eating birds in my yard today. The picture was on my neighbours roof while it was checking out the tree in my yard for insects
