Faint eye stripe, spotted back, and barring on the underside of the base of the tail. It was early morning and this guy just popped up in front of me very quickly, and my camera settings weren't prepared for a bird so all I got was this one blurry photo before he flew off.
On the porch to the bunkhouse I was staying in, thorn scrub habitat.
