Description:

Golden-orange domes found in company of suspected Coprinellus sp. http://www.projectnoah.org/spottings/215... Approximately 45mm wide. Dense white gills; dark fibrous stem (snapped easily)

Habitat:

In grassy patch near introduced pinus radiata.

I think this is correct, providing they could have been growing from wood, perhaps just beneath the soil.
