Infected Grasshopper

Description:

A dead Monkey Hopper (Eruciinae subfamily) infested by a type of parasitic insect fungi. It is clearly seen that it is being parasitised as white fungi are seen growing between body exoskeleton segments. The whole grasshopper is 37mm in length.

Habitat:

Spotted this on a plant leaf along a forest trail in Tawau Hills Park, Tawau, Sabah.

No problem. Even 37mm sounds too small. I saw so many things I can't remember the exact size, but I thought this was a big one.

It should be 37mm.
I am not sure how I get 16mm in there.

I was just about to post my spot of this one but I thought it was much bigger than 16mm. Is that just a typo? I thought it was about 76mm.
