Bluebell

hyacinthoides non scripta

Description:

These are the first bluebells I have seen this year which means that the forest floor will soon be a carpet of blue! Their common name describes them very aptly and they are a very dainty flower when seen. They are highly scented and the bees love them.

Habitat:

Seen in local woodlands.
