Sri Lanka Grey Hornbill

Ocyceros gingalensis

Description:

Pale yellow and grey bill, with long tail .

Habitat:

Tropical forest habitats ,and in urban areas where the fauna is considerably high

Notes:

These grey horn bills eats fruits most of the time ( ripen papaya as i have seen ) but recently they have been attacking baby squirrel nests and eating baby birds !They have a remarkable call which can be heard across very far !
