Amblypodia anita
It has a dark purple upper side with a black marginal band. The underside is dark coppery brown. Wings are decorated with a prominent discal line that runs across the fore and hind wings.
It is found in areas up to 1000 feet in elevation particularly in the Dry zone of the country mainly of the vegetation that grows alongside small water courses.
The larva feed on family Olacaceae such as Olax scandens.
