Zenaida asiatica
White-winged Doves are mostly brown. The wings have a white edge that flashes boldly when they fly. Tips of the tail feathers are also white. Bills are dark and there is a dark stripe on the sides of the neck. The red eyes are set in a patch of blue skin.
Open forests and deserts in the US southwest and scrub forests of Texas. Their range includes Mexico. They are becoming more common in cities.
